This Is The Only McDonald's In The World Where The Golden Arches Aren't Golden

http://goo.gl/wp8wPS
The famous Golden Arches of McDonald’s are instantly recognizable anywhere in the world, luring you with greasy fries, juicy nuggets and a variety of burgers.
But when the Golden Arches look like this, you may do a double take and wonder if this is the same fast-food restaurant.
The blue M can be spotted in Sedona, Arizona, an American town wellknown for its massive red rocks and picturesque desert views. And yes, the Blue Arches are genuine.
When McDonald’s applied to situate a restaurant in Sedona, they met with significant resistance centered on their trademark Golden Arches – it seems that the glaring yellow M would clash with the beautiful scenery.
McDonald’s was asked to select a different color for the arches and the company’s first submission, turquoise, was accepted. This was the first time ever, in the whole world, that McDonald’s had made such a change to its logo.Since then, the McDonald’s branch in Sedona has become a tourist attraction of its own. People from all over come to have their photo taken in front of the blue M.Here’s the address of the blue McDonald’s:
2380 Arizona 89A,
Sedona, AZ 86336,
United States

Giving - Inspiring Power Of Giving

This Amazing Commercial Random Act Of Kindness From Thailand Will Make You Cry.

Have a box of tissues ready before watching this incredible advertisement from Thai communication provider TrueMoveH. The three-minute segment warmed the hearts of thousands since being released and serves as a powerful reminder of the power of being kind without expecting something in return.

We were incredibly touched and moved by this short Thai film. It reminds us how sometimes the ones who give the most are also the ones that need it the most. It really reminds us of how important it is to give what you have no matter how little it is. It can be something as simple as offering your time, singing or reading to someone and volunteering.

12 Hotel Staff Confess The Dirty Secrets They Keep From Guests

http://goo.gl/hthdau
from home that’s oddly foreign. There’s no way to know what happens before we get there, but we’re curious. You need wonder no more about hotel mystique, thanks to this question posted on Reddit: “Hotel staff of Reddit, what is something that hotels keep from their guests?”
Retired and active hotel employees from around the globe jumped at the chance to reveal what goes on behind the scenes. From cringeworthy cleaning sessions to savvy money-saving tips, here are the 20 things that you should know before your next stay. Germaphobes be warned: it’s not good news. Some are nice tips, most are informative, however, a few are downright terrifying. Read this only if you are not in a hotel room.
1. Last-minute cancellation with no charge
The best way to cancel your reservation with out getting charged, if you’ve waited after the cancellation time, is to call 1st and say you’re changing your stay to a later date, then call back within a few hours, (hopefully getting a different clerk) and the cancellation fee will be bypassed because there’s now a new cancellation time on the new date.
2. About that chair you’re sitting on…
Use a towel or sheet on the chairs or sofa, a LOT of people sit on them naked. It’s nasty but there is often a brown streak on the desk chair that no one think about.

3. Never use the coverlet or duvet.
I cleaned hotel rooms for two weeks. During my training, I once found an obvious jizz crust on the coverlet. I told the woman I was working with that it needed to be cleaned and she responded “Just wipe it with a damp cloth until you can’t see it any more” like it was no big deal.
So yeah, try to only touch the top and fitted sheets because at least those come out of the wash.
4. Why nothing beats the Ritz.
I worked for the Ritz Carlton for a few years. In my orientation, the HR rep told everyone that each employee has a special allowance of $1,500 to make sure they can help the guests feel like their stay would be memorable. There was a story about a guest who lost his Rolex and asked the front desk if they had seen it or one of the maids took it and complained a lot. When the guest finally left, the guy from the front desk went out and purchased the guest a new rolex and was reimbursed fully by the ritz. The guest was extra happy and is now returning to the same property every year. So, every Ritz Carlton employee in the U.S. has a $1,500 account for guests if needed. Not many people know that.
I stayed on the “club” level of the Ritz once and the butler guys in the club would say yes to just about anything I’d ask (it was all free in there). Can I have 2 redbull vodkas, a jack and coke and a warm chocolate chip cookie?
My pleasure sir.
I asked if they ever said no. His response was “We aren’t allowed to perform sexual favors and we can’t sell you drugs but what you do in your room is your business.”
5. Another reason not to use the minibar
Check the seals on the things in the minibar. I once had a guest who had drunk the whiskey and then peed in the bottle, closed it, and put it back. I’ve also seen candy three month past the exp date.
6. Glasses are never cleaned.
No longer a hotel worker but: do not use the provided glasses. Or, if you need to, wash them yourself first.

7. Same goes for the remotes.
The remotes for the TV are rarely cleaned

8. And the bathtubs, jacuzzis…
If you book a jacuzzi, be warned, the jet system is often completely clogged up with really nasty gunk.
If you book a room with a tub, don’t check underneath, that’s a place some personnel miss to clean.

9. Get fresh towels
Maybe everyone knows this, but if you want fresh towels you should put the towels on the floor. If you hang them they will not be changed and you’ll have to ask for new ones.
10. Some hotels have a file for every guest.
At the four seasons, or really similar hotels of that calibre, you can ask to include things in your client file, such as preferences. A friend of mine asked them to include “loves chocolate chip cookies” in their file and when he stays at any four seasons, they have a plate of cookies in his room
11. Find leftover freebies.
Often you can find “treasures” left behind by former guests. Rip the room apart! Look under mattress and box spring. In vents.
move the night stand and dressers. just be sure to put it back together before you leave. If you stay in enough hotels and do this you will find something left behind. House keepers generally have 10-15 min to clean each room.
12. How to get discounted room rates
Any haggling or outright complaining you do will likely get you a discount. I’ve realized people are more likely to complain at older properties because frankly they’re more likely to get it unquestioned. Most wont even bother to go look if its minor. You’re almost always going to get 10% difference if you give the clerk any kind of problem with your rate. Selling the room for 30% off is still better than no sale in the eyes of hotel owners, and depending on the situation, as long as it’s not too frequent, can nearly always slide.

15 Delicious Disneyland Food You Must Not Miss When Visiting The Happiest Place On Earth

http://goo.gl/SEM3bE

Disneyland: home of fantastical fireworks, rip-roaring rides, more souvenirs than you can shake a four-fingered glove at — and, it so happens, some of the best theme park food this side of Arendelle.
Bars and restaurants at the Disneyland Resort have figured out what
guests crave, from sweet, buttery pineapple soft serves to boozy green screwdrivers made with Ųve different kinds of rum. We’ve compiled some of our favorite must-eats and drinks to put on your Disney Bucket List. Yep, turns out that, in addition to bringing joy to the lives of suburbanites everywhere, the Mouse sure knows how to fry a mean beignet.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Soda

What: A light, pinkish grape soda infused with hints of peanut and topped with a fizzy foam. The secret here is in the subtlety, since neither the PB nor the J is too overpowering, but just present enough to remind you of after school snacks.
Where: Carnation Cafe, Main Street, Disneyland
The Uh-Oa!

What: The name Uh-Oa! can be one of two things: a sizable Tiki fishbowl filled with light and dark rums, various tropical juices, and a pinch of cinnamon; or what you’ll say when you order the damn thing. Find it in the Enchanted Tiki Room-like Trader Sam’s Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, along with plenty of chanting and a high chance of showers.
Where: Trader Sam’s Bar at The Disneyland Hotel
Wine and Cheese Box

What: Gorging indiscriminately on turkey legs and soda is so 1955 (we’re guessing). In any case, Disney’s classed it up a bit since Walt’s days, and you can too, by pairing your own wines and cheeses on the Mendocino Terrace. The box also comes with extra packets of breadsticks, score.
Where: Mendocino Terrace, PaciŲc Wharf, California Adventure
The Zombie

What: This one’s a doozy. Recipes vary by bartender, but expect three to Ųve different kinds of rum including Bacardi 151 and just a “splash” of fruit juice. Just the thing to snap you out of zombie mode after a long day at the park, or send you right back into it.
Where: Cove Bar, Paradise Pier (behind Ariel’s Grotto Restaurant), California Adventure
Matterhorn Macaroon

What: This mini-mountain is basically a crunchy, coconut crag crowned by delicate snow “cream.” It’s sweet and simple, and best of all, totally Insta-worthy. #vacationcaloriesdontcount
Where: Jolly Holiday Bakery, Main Street, Disneyland
Dole Whip, Salted Caramel, Strawberry Cream-Flavored Churros

What: When regular cinnamon just won’t cut it, don’t fret. These sundry ųavored churros found outside the park are edgier and more inspired than your average deep-fried sugar stick. Pro-tip: save a pineapple one for dipping into your Tiki Room Dole Whip for an unimaginably indulgent treat.
Where: California Churro Cart, Downtown Disney (near The Lego Store)
Dole Whip

What: Speaking of, Disneyland’s Dole Whip soft serve is quite possibly the closest thing you’ll get to tasting an orgasm in a cup (or whatever the PG version of that might be). Available as a plain soft serve or in a pineapple juice ųoat, its lush, buttery, and tart ųavors shine best when eaten slowly and deliberately, Ratatouille-style.
Where: The Enchanted Tiki Room, Adventureland, Disneyland
Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Sandwich

What: Perfectly sized and perfectly peanut buttery, the Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Sandwich is a bit more cookie than sandwich, but ideal for an in-park Reese’s fix.
Where: Pooh’s Corner, Critter Country, Disneyland
Beignets

What: Consider these your next-level churros, deep fried dough breathed out into pillow form and dusted with a healthy amount of confectioner’s sugar. We prefer the Jazz Kitchen versions because they’re square and therefore slightly larger, but the Mickey-shaped ones really get you into the spirit. (You are, after all, in the happiest place on earth).
Where: Mint Julep Bar, New Orleans Square, Disneyland (also The Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney)
Lobster Roll

What: There are plenty of hidden gems on the back side of the park, but perhaps none as smack-yourself-upside-the-head surprising as the Lobster Roll at Harbour Galley, right by the exit of the Haunted Mansion. Inside a fluffy, butter-toasted roll goes a sparingly mayo’d lobster salad that may be just tasty enough to beat the legendary McLobster. Will it be the best lobster roll you’ve ever had? No. But is it one of the best foods you’ll find inside the park? Abso-freaking-lutely.
Where: Harbour Galley, Critter Country, Disneyland
Carnitas Nachos

What: We suggest skipping the pool after trying these fellas. Tucked inside the Grand Californian, past the hotel entrance to California Adventure, is White Water Snacks, a cute place to grab a quick bite to eat . . . or knock yourself into a food coma for a few hours with any of their angus cheeseburgers or shredded beef nachos. Swap the carne
asada for carnitas and you’re onto some serious black magic.
Where: White Water Snacks at The Grand Californian (by the pool)
Broasted Chicken

What: I’ll just out and say it: this chicken is crack. Deep fried, golden brown, salted-to-perfection crack. Forget the usual trumpets of turkey. The Plaza Inn serves up dinner just like mom used to when guests were over — fully dressed with green beans, mashed potatoes, and dinner rolls. Altogether it’s as filling and homey as theme park food can be.
Where: Plaza Inn, Main Street, Disneyland
Barbecue Chicken Stuffed Baked Potato

What: The chicken comes juiced up in a sweet orange glaze and spooned unfussily — along with chives, cole slaw, sour cream, and butter — into a steamy crevasse of baked starch. You’ll need every bit with every bite (the chicken can be too sweet otherwise), but there’s nothing better for fueling you up at snack time.
Where: Harbour Galley, Critter Country, Disneyland
Lobster Nachos
What: No trip to Cove Bar is complete without washing everything down with a heavy helping of Lobster Nachos. There’s nothing too crazy here: lobster pieces, cheese, black beans, gorgeously thick tortilla chips. The good news is there’s plenty to go around, so bring a friend or four.
Where: Cove Bar, Paradise Pier, California Adventure
The Monte Cristo

This Is What You Get When ALL 43 Burgers On McDonald's Menu Are Used To Create One EPIC Burger

http://goo.gl/LK7eAJ
One fast food fan decided to check an item off his bucket list by putting together a McEverything of every sandwich on the menu.
Created by McDonald’s aficionado, Nick Chapman, the staggering three-foot tall tower of cheese, meat, sausage, bacon, chicken, egg and fish was made from all the lunch and breakfast menu items available on the menu of his local Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, McDonald’s.
Held together by “lots and lots of bamboo skewers” and packing over 20,000 calories, the McEverything cost him $140.33, including an extra dollar for – ironically – a Diet Coke.Apparently, Chapman went on to finish the burger over 3 days.
