See The Women Who Disappear Within The Skyline Of New York City

Trina Merry is not your average painter. Instead of using traditional art studios and canvases, she chooses to turn New York City into her own studio, and use the naked body as her canvas.
The 33-year-old meticulously paint her mostly nude models so that they blend in seamlessly with New York’s skyline and landmarks like Central Park, Guggenheim Museum and Brooklyn Bridge. The topless models, clad in nothing more than a bikini bottom and shoes, have to pose for hours along the busy streets of Manhattan. Thanks to the liberal laws of New York, public nudity is permitted for the purpose of a performance or artistic expression.
It’s a painstaking process. Passers-by would often stop and gawk, or to ask questions. And at one point, Ms Merry even had to redo parts of her painting when a vehicle parked in the background was driven off.
The result is a series of remarkable photographs that must be taken at the correct angle to achieve incredible results. Check them out below.
