A NASA Astronaut Has Spent Two Days Capturing India And The Results Are Stunning

Space views will never get old. NASA Astronaut Terry Virts has been instrumental in making sure we get our space fix from the International Space Station. The Nasa astronaut is currently the commander of Expedition 43, and has been in space since 11 March 2015. Regularly posting vines from the station, Virts has been focusing a lot on night footage recently capturing some incredible thunderstorms from space.

Ever been scared by a lighting storm? This Vine video of one over India on Friday evening could change the way you look at them.

Contrasting this with his most recent video, Virts posted a beautiful night flyover of India at night. With the city lights from India's east coast flickering through the clouds it's hard not to feel a pang of jealousy that this is a view Virts sees almost every single day.

Virts seems to have spent quite a bit of time over the last few days taking pictures of India. He posted a couple of views of the southeast coast of the country. (Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad)
