Super Kings will now face Mumbai Indians in the summit clash on Sunday at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Veteran batsman Hussey played a mature knock, which included two sixes and three fours, to help twice champions CSK chase down the modest 140-run target with 3 wickets and 1 ball to spare.

Yuzvendra Chahal hasn't been a one-season wonder in the IPL. He has done better this year, both in terms of striking when required as well as preventing a scoring spree in the middle stages.

Yuzvendra Chahal's simple approach to bowling is perhaps best conveyed through his glitch-free action: a brisk, short run that culminates in a rapid rotation of the arms - fluid from start to finish. Chahal is by no means endowed with an overflowing bag of tricks. But he is good at what he does. Good enough to earn 21 wickets and stand on top of Royal Challengers Bangalore's wicket-takers' list, ahead of spearhead Mitchell Starc.

Dhoni praises bowlers after CSK edge past RCB

Speaking after the game, Dhoni said: "Well that's what happens when the wicket is like that. I felt Hussey batted really well. I thought if we had scored 70 in the first 10 overs, we were in with a chance. Ashwin bowled really well against Gayle, who would have taken the game away. The fast bowlers backed him up well. We had to hold back the left-arm spinners till Gayle was there.

"It's very difficult to say what is the par score on this wicket. I think they were 10-12 runs short. We have improved with each and every game. We have to play sensibly and have to pick our moments. That's one area we need to improve," Dhoni said.

Nehra, who was named the Man of the Match, said he was bowling with "good rhythm" this season. The experienced left-arm pacer was also pleased with the way he bowled to Chri Gayle, keeping it tight and not letting the big-hitting opener off the hook.

Gayle and skipper Virat Kohli made a steady start to RCB's innings on a slow and difficult pitch.

Young Sarfaraz Khan (31 off 21 balls) played short little cameo towards the end to give RCB bowlers something to defend. Dinesh Karthik (28 off 26) also played a good hand but just when his team need him, the wicket-keeper batsman perished in search of quick runs.
