A superb knock by Kolkata Knight Riders' Andre Russell saw the team through to another victory in the Indian Premier League at the MCA International Stadium here on Saturday.

Russell scored 66 (36), which included nine 4s. Kings XI's Sandeep Sharma bowled a brilliant spell, taking four wickets for 25 runs in his alloted overs.



Earlier, Kings XI Punjab set a target of 156 for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League clash , after ending their innings at 155 for the loss of nine wickets.

Captain George Bailey was the top scorer for Kings XI, scoring 60 (45), while KKR pacer Umesh Yadav bowled a good spell, taking three wickets for 33 runs.

Andre Russell cracked a scintillating 35-ball 66 to power Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) home from a precarious position against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter on Saturday.

The Jamaican kept on clobbering the hapless KXIP bowlers all round the park plundering nine fours and two sixes enroute, as he led the Knights' recovery after they looked at sea losing half their batsmen inside eight overs, with only 60 on board.



Bailey clinched the orange cap in the last over as he clubbed the second ball for a six with Ryan ten Doeschate tipping it over the boundary line.
