Beauty, harmony, and balance fill this video — on so many levels: the dancer, her movements, and her amazing mobile creation are equally beautiful.  A truly amazing balancing act, this is a meditation as well. Don’t miss the finale; it puts an exclamation point at the end of the entire incredible performance.  Dance artist Miyoko Shida was born in Fukuyama-shi, Japan.  She performed as a dancer and choreographer at the Rigolo Nouveau Cirque in Switzerland and currently lives in Paris, France.

This is what we have to say, she has an incridible concentration to do the task she really wanted by heart. This means that her mind and body are in tune with her spirit, for no one could ever perform such without its unity. It takes a lot of practise though.... for "practice makes perfect, and faith makes things possible."

A feather keeps the whole structure balanced! Wow what a lesson which we can see in our life! Beyond the beauty, beyond the strength, beyond the balance it is, to us a demonstration of the universe and reminds us of how fragile we all are and how dependent we all are upon each one of us as individuals and the environment and its make up. Should we not work with nature then the entire structure of life will collapse, each part reliant upon the other.

At the end she taught us how by taking out a small feather the whole structure crashed. Like that in our lives also a small thing may hold many things together and we should not leave out anything. Here we recollect a thought "there is no letter without significance, there is no plant without any medicinal value, there is no person as useless, what is lacking is, to properly put to use the available things". We really appreciate this wonder girl.

Here is the life lesson. Choose wisely, be quiet and patient, be prepared to bend, twist and turn gracefully and put all your concentration in achieving a strong successful life for we are as feathers in the wind otherwise.

So it is, that the stability of the whole depends upon the smallest ingredient to remain in balance... Something to be learned here beyond her exquisite performance.

Three Spiritual Lessons From Miyoko Shida

  1. Every act of creation occurs in the now

  2. Life is an interconnected, frail thing -but there lies its beauty and significance

  3. Creation starts with Spirit and it ends when Spirit lets it go
